Account and security
Sign-in methods
An account can have several ways in: email and password, Google, Microsoft, GitHub, and Apple. Link or unlink them in the account settings; the only rule is that at least one method must remain. Linking your work Google account and a password, for example, means losing access to one never locks you out.
Forgot your password? The login page links the reset; the email arrives within minutes. If you only sign in via an external provider, there is no password to reset: use that provider's recovery.
Two-factor authentication
Under Security, enable 2FA with any TOTP app (Authy, 1Password, Google Authenticator). On activation you get backup codes; print them or store them in your password manager, since they are the way back in if you lose the phone. With 2FA on, password sign-ins require the six-digit code.
If you spend real money on this account, and on Pro or Ultra you do, 2FA is the single best security step available.
Language
The interface, notification emails, and documentation follow your language preference. Set it once in your account; everything else adjusts.
Deleting your account
In the dashboard under Account, deletion takes effect immediately: account, chats, agents, and API keys are removed. Two things to know beforehand:
- Remaining credit expires with deletion and cannot be paid out. Spend it first.
- Invoice data is retained in a protected archive for the legally required period; that obligation survives the account.
If you are a team owner, transfer or wind down the team first, since the team's credit pot lives on your account. If something is wrong rather than finished, consider a ticket before the irreversible step: most problems are fixable.
